The problem with special themes is that they can be difficult to update unless you have some tech/code skills. Just take a look through the wordpress themese to find one you like bearing this in mind. This one is called ‘mortgages’ – not sure if it is still available. All the best with your own blog.

Hey Boss – its a nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend me about it?

This is WordPress hosted on my own domain with the ‘mortgages’ theme. Take a look at an earlier (later) reply where I briefly mention the use of specialist themes.

Hi. Thanks for the nice comments. The theme is called ‘mortgages’, but you need to think about what you are going to use in the long term. Sometimes I can’t alter certain things in it and the designer is no longer available, which is frustrating. Yet, if I change to another theme, it’s going to take quite a bit of work to get it right – and I don’t have time at the moment.
Personally, I’d try and stick with one of the now excellent stock designs and perhaps change it every year or so. You can of course buy themes, but you may be locked into paying if you want to upgrade. Not sure about that side.
