• Four must-have traffic exchange tools

Hi Again. Thanks for coming back!

    Four must-have traffic exchange tools

If you are advertising in traffic exchanges, you MUST use —

    1.  SPLASH /SQUEEZE PAGES - here are my favourite page design programs

    • Site Rubix – excellent WYSIWYG designing and straightforward uploading to your site by in-built FTP. There’s so much more to this than the page-building though, so it may be overkill for you right now. But it is definitely top of my list and something I can’t do without. Requires a monthly membership fee as it is part of Wealthy Affiliate University – CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
    • Instant Squeeze Page Generator - “takes the hard work of designing a professional squeeze page or Lead Capture page and makes it so easy a baby could do it. If you can point and click, you will be creating squeeze pages in minutes”. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
    • Instant MLM Squeeze Pages – not just for MLM programs, this one’s a bit different as the pages are 90% ready for you. You can add your main program as a link. Interesting concept and fantastic videos telling you all you need to know about desiging squeeze pages if you want to do your own. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
    • Lots of the traffic exchanges have splash page builders available to members – really easy to use and you get to promote that TE as well.
    • Online free for ad hoc use – can be found through online search. You will want to host these yourself though.

    2.   Rotators for your splash or squeeze pages - these also have tools to help you track your ad campaigns, so they are really essential. Here are the ones I use:

    3.  Banners – here are my favourite banner design programs:

    4.  Rotators for your banners – here are the ones I use:

Why the splash / squeeze pages? – see my articles here and here

…and make sure you have read my Squidoo lens – here

Why use rotators? – see here (you will need to scroll down the page a bit)

Why use banners? – Why not? You will be given credits (impressions) for them, so you may as well use them. In some traffic exchanges they are free too.

Why have rotators for banners? – see here (same link as above)

You can find the top traffic exchanges to use in AFFILIATE FUNNEL and TRAFFICHOOPLA. Both have free basic memberships and use a variety of methods to rank the hit exchanges. Well worth a look.

If you are looking for programs to promote you will find some of what I am doing here in my blog, but I must admit that my favourites are MY INSTANT BIZ and TRAFFIC EXCHANGE PROFITS/ONLINE BUSINESS ALLIANCE. Great systems and top-class support in these two.

All of the above recommendations have basic FREE membership options  and some are just there for you to use as and when without signing up. Or you may decide you would like to upgrade and receive even more benefits; I have upgraded in some, but not all of them.

    To your success

If any of you already have your own online business, or is thinking about starting one up, here’s a forum post which I found so interesting that I decided to pop it here into my blog. It is copied unchanged and with full permission of the author called Cindy in the forum.

I just have something that I would like to point out to you. This is something that will come up from time to time – and you will have to deal with it. So, here is a comparison that will help you answer the question, “Do You Own Your OBA Business?”

I have a very good friend who wanted to own her own business – she chose a McDonald’s franchise. I had the pleasure of working side-by-side with this great lady as she began her career as a McDonald’s Restaraunt Owner.

    Let’s compare a few things:

Donna purchased franchise rights from McDonald Corporation. She purchased land and had a restaraunt built to McDonald’s specifications.

You purchased a digital product (ebook) from OBA’s soon-to-be digital library. You obtained free web hosting to host your sales page. Your sales page was built according to Dave’s specifications.

Comparison – Both businesses began pretty much the same way. Something was purchased, resale rights were given, and you became a representative of a larger business.

McDonald’s provided Donna with a business plan, products to sell, and support from the McDonald’s Corporation.

OBA (Dave) provided you with a business plan, products to sell, and support from the CEO and every other OBA affiliate who wishes to participate in the OBC.

Comparison: Both companies provided a business plan, a product, and support.

McDonald’s gives franchise owners choices about whether or not they wish to provide specialty sandwiches on the menu. McDonald’s does have some stipulations that are in place to protect McDonald’s Corporation and individual franchise owners. Donna chooses how she runs her business – she chooses her managers, she chooses her hours of operation, and she chooses her employees.

OBA gives affiliates choices about which products they wish to sell – you choose whether you want to only sell digital products or if you also wish to participate in building a business that earns you recurring monthly income. OBA has rules and stipulations in place in order to protect OBA and individual OBA affiliates. You choose how much time you want to dedicate to your business, how you want to advertise your business, and how far you want to take your business.

Comparison: Both companies have rules in place for the protection of both the company and the individual business owners. Both companies allow you the freedom to decide how to run your business and how successful you want to be.

McDonald’s Corporation earned a one-time franchise fee and earns a recurring, monthly income.

Dave earns a one-time admin fee when someone leases an Adspace and a recurring monthly income from the programs.

Comparison: Both business plans work the same.

Should McDonald’s Corporation make money by offering people a chance to own their own businesses? Sure – or there would be no McDonald’s Corporation.

Should the CEO of OBA make money by offering people a chance to own their own businesses? Sure – or there would be no OBA.

Does Donna own her own business? You better believe she does! (now 4 total)

Do you own your own OBA business? You better believe you do! And, you have the option of making your business just what you want it to be!

So, the next time someone tells you that you really don’t own your own business, you know better!!
